University Of Arkansas Scholarships 2024 -2025 For International Students

The University of Arkansas (UA) offers a wide range of scholarships to help students pursue their educational goals. These scholarships are designed to recognize and reward academic achievement, leadership potential, community involvement, and other exceptional qualities exhibited by students.

This total does not include funds that support external scholarships held by UA students such as Governor’s Scholarships, Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarships, or non-resident tuition waivers. Scholarships funded by the university fall into three broad categories: prestigious fellowships, academic scholarships, and special interest/skills scholarships. Here are some of the scholarships available at the University of Arkansas

  1. Chancellor’s Scholarship: The Chancellor’s Scholarship is one of the most prestigious scholarships at UA. It is awarded to incoming freshmen based on academic merit, leadership qualities, and community involvement. Recipients of this scholarship receive full tuition, fees, and a stipend for housing and books.
  2. Arkansas Academy Scholarship: The Arkansas Academy Scholarship is a highly competitive scholarship that recognizes exceptional students from Arkansas who have achieved high academic success and demonstrated leadership potential. It covers full tuition and fees for four years.
  3. Bodenhamer Fellowship: The Bodenhamer Fellowship is a scholarship available to exceptional students from Arkansas who have a strong commitment to community service and leadership. It covers full tuition, fees, a housing stipend, and additional funding for research or study abroad experiences.
  4. Razorback Bridge Scholarship: The Razorback Bridge Scholarship is aimed at transfer students from community colleges in Arkansas who demonstrate academic excellence and leadership potential. It provides financial assistance to cover a portion of tuition and fees.

New Freshman Scholarships

NOVEMBER 1 – Priority Admissions Deadline: Complete an admissions application, submit transcripts, and send test scores to the office of admissions by this date. Within 48 hours of application submission, the scholarship application will be available in your New Student Center.

NOVEMBER 15 – Priority Scholarship Deadline: Submit a scholarship application by this date for priority consideration for academic scholarships.

FEBRUARY 1 – Final Scholarship Deadline: Submit all required materials by this date for scholarship consideration.

Priority deadlines have been updated for the Fall 2023 application cycle.

Transfer Scholarships

ADMISSIONS: Complete an admissions application by March 15 to be considered for the April 1 fall scholarship deadline and by October 1 to be considered for the October 15 spring scholarship deadline. Within 48 hours of application submission, the scholarship application will be available in your New Student Center.

APRIL 1 – Scholarship Deadline for Fall Semester: Submit transcripts and a completed scholarship application by this date to be considered for an academic scholarship for the fall semester.

OCTOBER 15 – Scholarship Deadline for Spring Semester: Submit transcripts and a completed scholarship application by this date to be considered for an academic scholarship for the spring semester.

State and Federal Financial Aid for New and Current Students

Current and prospective University of Arkansas students interested in federal or state financial assistance should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible after October 1. The Title IV code for the University of Arkansas is 001108.
