Dr. BR Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for EBC Students, Chandigarh
  • Under this scholarship scheme, students receive scholarships till they complete their courses. The value of the scholarship includes a maintenance allowance of up to INR 750 per month, a monthly reader allowance for blind students of up to INR 175, reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees, study tour charges of up to INR 900 per annum, thesis typing/ printing charges of up to INR 1,000.
Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC Students, Chandigarh
  • The selected students receive a scholarship amount of up to INR 525 per month for 10 months every year along with an annual book & ad-hoc grant of up to INR 750.

  • The annual family income must not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh.
  • Also, all children of the same parents/guardian are eligible for this scholarship.

  • Employed students on leave without pay for the entire duration of a full-time course are also eligible for this scholarship.
Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC Students, Chandigarh
  • The candidates must belong to the OBC category.
  • The candidates must have passed matriculation/ higher secondary or any higher exam of a university.
  • The applicants studying in class 11 or above are eligible to apply.
  • Under this scheme, only 2 children of the same parents are entitled to receive the scholarship. This condition is not applicable in case of girl candidates.
