The Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Tripura runs this scholarship for students of Technical/ Professional/ Management/ M.Phil./ PhD courses. The selected students will get a stipend of up to ₹ 30,000 per annum. The objective of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the students of Tripura to pursue higher education.
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for EBC, Tripura
Run by the Government of Tripura, this scholarship is meant for general category students who are studying in class 11 to postdoctoral level with an annual family income of not more than ₹ 1 lakh. The scholarship comprises maintenance allowance, reader charges, reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees, and thesis typing and printing charges. The scholarship aims at enabling economically backward students to complete their studies.
Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for SC, Tripura
This scholarship is given by the Government of Tripura to scheduled caste students who are studying in class 11 to post-graduation and have an annual parental income not greater than ₹ 2.5 lakh. The objective of this scholarship is to provide financial aid to these students.
Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Students
Applicable for the students belonging to Other Backward Classes, this scholarship offers variable financial assistance to students who are studying in class 11 to the postdoctoral level. The annual family income of these students must not exceed ₹ 1.5 lakh per annum.
Pre-Matric Scholarships Scheme for ST, Tripura
This scholarship is open for the ST students belonging to Tripura state. The students must be studying in class 9 or 10 and annual family income must not be greater than ₹ 2 lakh per annum. The selected candidate will get the scholarship and other allowances for ten months.
