  • The candidates also get reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees.
  • The candidates are also entitled to receive study tour charges of up to INR 1,600 annually.
  • Thesis typing/printing charges of up to INR 1,600 is also given to the scholars.
  • Those students who are studying through correspondence/distance learning receive an annual book allowance of INR 1,200.
  • Book bank facility with a maximum ceiling of INR 7,500 is also available to regular, full-time students.
Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Transgender Students, Chandigarh
  • Under this scholarship scheme, the candidates get a maintenance allowance of up to INR 1,200 per month.
  • Also, the students get reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees which include enrolment/registration, tuition, library, games, and other such fees.
Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC Students, Chandigarh
  • This scholarship includes maintenance allowance, reader charges for blind students, reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees, study tour charges, thesis typing/ printing charges and book allowance for students pursuing correspondence course.
Dr. BR Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for EBC Students, Chandigarh
  • Under this scholarship scheme, students receive scholarships till they complete their courses. The value of the scholarship includes a maintenance allowance of up to INR 750 per month, a monthly reader allowance for blind students of up to INR 175, reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees, study tour charges of up to INR 900 per annum, thesis typing/ printing charges of up to INR 1,000.
Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC Students, Chandigarh
  • The selected students receive a scholarship amount of up to INR 525 per month for 10 months every year along with an annual book & ad-hoc grant of up to INR 750.
Chandigarh University Scholarship and Admission Test (CU-SAT)
  • Under this scholarship scheme, the top 1% of students in the CU-SAT merit list get 100 % scholarship grant.
  • The next 2% of students in the CU-Sat merit list get 50% scholarship grant.
  • The next 3% students in the CU-Sat merit list get 25% scholarship grant.

  • The eligible students get a scholarship amount of INR 250 per month for 10 months with a maximum limit of INR 2,500 per annum.
Attendance Scholarship to SC/ST Students, Chandigarh
  • The eligible students get a scholarship amount of INR 250 per month for 10 months with a maximum limit of INR 2,500 per annum.
Talent Search Scholarship to SC/ST Students, Chandigarh
  • The selected students are given admission in Government Model Schools.
  • The candidates also receive a scholarship amount of INR 150 per month for 12 months.

Extra Coaching Classes to SC Economically Weaker and Socially Underprivileged, Chandigarh

  • The students applying for this scholarship must have passed matriculation/ higher secondary or any higher exam of a university.
  • The students must be pursuing post-secondary or post-matriculation courses, except training courses, from a recognised institution.
  • The annual family income must not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh.
  • Also, all children of the same parents/guardian are eligible for this scholarship.
  • Those students who are studying through correspondence can also apply.
  • Employed students on leave without pay for the entire duration of a full-time course are also eligible for this scholarship.
Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC Students, Chandigarh
  • The candidates must belong to the OBC category.
  • The candidates must have passed matriculation/ higher secondary or any higher exam of a university.
  • The applicants studying in class 11 or above are eligible to apply.
  • Under this scheme, only 2 children of the same parents are entitled to receive the scholarship. This condition is not applicable in case of girl candidates.
  • The applicants must not be holding any other scholarship.
Dr. BR Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for Economically Backward Class Students, Chandigarh
  • The applicants must belong to the General category.
  • The applicants must be the permanent residents of the Union Territory of Chandigarh.
  • The annual family income must not exceed INR 1 Lakh.
